When snowy day weather is upon us, we certainly need to keep up with our studies so we aren't behind upon return to class. With that in mind, here are some suggestions for students when school is closed due to inclement weather.
SPELLING: Do the next
two pages in the workbook, and study the
words for the test.
READING: Read a book
for at least 20 minutes.
WRITING: Write a summary
of what you read.
MATH: Practice your
basic facts. Students should not have to count
on thier fingers or pause for 5 seconds to answer basic
questions such as 8+4, 13-7, or 7x9.
We are usuallyworking on research reports during this time of year. Take advantage of your time to spend 20-30 minutes working on your report!
