WELLHEAD PROTECTION AREA issues are once again surfacing. See the attached document which was presented to Athens Assistant Service Safety Director at a recent meeting.
TOWN HALL MEETING: the third meeting is scheduled for June 23rd at 6:30 pm at the Community Center. The meeting will focus on questions submitted prior to the meeting and will be responded to by the Mayor Wiehl and city staff. Submit your questions to athensquestions@gmail.com.

The city now has a
Solid Waste/ Litter Control Officer.
So for the best results, we as members of the neighborhood association are asked to report any litter violations that we come across. The City homepage has a link for reporting litter:

well the response to your reporting is, so we can improve the cleaning
of our city.
