Accepting Nominations for 2005
Each year OASC presents
the Muriel
Bertch Award to honor the
founder and first president of the Association.
The presentation is part of the Annual Spring
Conference.
Any candidate proposed
for the Award must have exhibited a sincere
commitment to the senior center philosophy by one
or more of the following:
1. A distinguished career
in the senior center field for a minimum of ten
(10) years.
2. A significant
statewide accomplishment that improves the image
and/or credibility of senior centers.
3. A significant national
accomplishment that improves or benefits the
image and/or credibility of senior centers.
4. An outstanding
advocacy effort to promote the need for community
based services to older adults.
