Bikeway etiquette guidelines have been developed for the use of the Bikeway as follows:

• ALL USERS (walkers, joggers, skaters, bicyclists, wheelchairs, etc.)
  use the RIGHT hand side, except to pass.
• When passing:
• Pass on the left,
• Alert with a verbal warning or bell/horn and yield to those being passed,
• Yield to oncoming bikeway traffic.

• Headphone use is NOT recommended.
• When stopped, move off of the pavement.
• Dogs must be leashed and kept very close.
• Carry out what you take in: leave no litter.
• Leave plants and flowers intact.
