RE: Monthly GIS Progress Report
Commissioners:
A progress report from Sanborn Colorado on our orthophoto
/elevation contours project is included with this report.
We have received the second of four orthophoto sets. This set
includes the southwest quadrant of the County and the City of
Athens. ILGARD students are continuing their work on QA/QC for
all aspects of our project. They have finished a first draft of
all but Athens and York Township for the Auditors project.
We have just two students working over break. One student is
working on splits and the other is continuing to build the Plat
Layouts for ArcView.
J.B. and Darren are continuing to create and enhance the ArcIMS
website. We will be securing Athenscountygis.com as a website to
run parallel with athensgis.com. Our next GIS Steering Committee
meeting will be January 16 at 10:00 A.M., in the ILGARD
conference room.
Thank you for allowing me to coordinate this important aspect of
Athens County's future.
