Logo Contest

ABC Players is offering $250 to the winner of a competition to produce a new logo. Designs should be submitted by January 1, 2010, either:

• In hard copy to ABC Players, P.O. Box 283, Athens, Ohio 45701, OR

• Return

Conditions of the competition:

• Artists may submit a maximum of two sketches.
• The winning design will be chosen by February 1, 2010, and the artist awarded $150.
• An additional $100 will be awarded following a maximum of two revisions of the original submission. If the winning design is accepted with no revision requested, the entire $250 will be awarded immediately.
• ABC Players will retain the exclusive rights to the final design, and any computer graphic files produced from it. The winning artist may display the design in his or her portfolio.

Interested artists are encouraged to attend a performance of an ABC Players production, and to review the ABC Players web site at www.abcplayers.org, for information about the organization, its history, and its goals. The two logos currently displayed at the top of the home page are from the two organizations that merged to become the ABC Players, but the new logo need not be based in any way on the prior logos.
