- Enterprise Development Corporation is a private, not-for-profit
corporation providing financing options, training and technical
assistance to small businesses 30 counties of Appalachian
Ohio. Enterprise particularly focuses on working with those
individuals and small businesses who have few resources, but have
good skills and ideas. The organization houses a Small
Business Development Center which assists start-up and existing
businesses with business planning and growth issues and hosts the
Small Business Management program, an education program for existing
business owners sponsored by Tri-County Vocational School.
Small business owners may also choose from a number of financing
options available at Enterprise including SBA microloan, Athens City
and County and USDA intermediary financing. Information about
