Mr. McManus' Class

Students in my fifth grade class will continue with a learning experience similar to their fourth grade year. In my class, students will be expected to demonstrate and apply proficiencies which they have acquired in the fourth grade. In addition, students will be expected to gain skills which will prepare them for mastery of the fifth grade CBE requirements. Students who are weak in basic skills will be placed into programs that are designed to improve reading, spelling, writing, and math. Students who are able to read, spell, write, and calculate proficiently at fifth grade level will be placed into programs to extend academic growth. These programs will emphasize the integration of music, drama, and other fine arts
