I have been working on a biography of John N. TEMPLETON (1804?-1851). JNT graduated from Ohio University in 1828, among the first 10 A-A college graduates in this country. Among his activities in the Steel City: - a founder of the African Public School - associate of Martin Robinson DELANEY on the _Mystery_ (AA Newspaper) - active in local convention mouvement, member - member of the Wylie African Methodist Espiscopal Church (now Bethel) - member United Bretheren of Mutual Relief with J.B.
