WELCOME FROM THE PRINCIPAL
   We extend a warm welcome to our students and their parents to what should be another exciting and rewarding year at Morrison.  To increase the degree of educational success for children, it is extremely important that teachers, parents, and administrators communicate openly and frequently regarding the progress of students.  To date, we have had kindergarten orientation on August 28-29, a pool party for Morrison families sponsored by our P.T.O. on August 31, open house for parents and students on September 6, and parent-student-teacher goal setting conferences for students in grades 4-6 on September 18-19.  Conferences for families in grades 1-3 happen on October 3-4.  Kindergarten teachers will confer with parents again on November 13-14.  We encourage you to make a special effort to participate along with your child in these sessions.
      Parents are urged to keep informed regarding school matters by reading individual class newsletters and the monthly Morrison Message.  In addition, we invite you to visit our school web site at  www.seorf.ohiou.edu/~xx036 for information about all grade levels,  departments, and the school in general.
