Morrison
has a six acre land lab in back of the school. This area consists of woodland,
marshland, access to Margaret's Creek, a viewing blind to observe various
birds and animals, a shallow pond, and cleared areas for large and small
group instruction. Trails are mowed throughout this outdoor classroom helping
to make it an exciting educational experience for our young students.
In 1995, the Ohio Division of Wildlife proclaimed Morrison a Wild School
Site for having demonstrated informed, constructive action to benefit people,
wildlife, and the environment on school grounds.
Parents are invited to visit the Morrison Land Lab with their children
after school hours and on weekends.
