County Job & Family Services
As of July 1, 2000, the Athens County Department of
Human Services became the Athens County Department of Job & Family
Services due to a merger of the State Department of Human Services and
Ohio Bureau of Employment Services. Athens County Job & Family
Services administers many programs for Athens County residents and
employers.
