Encourage the participation of Athens county candidates, voters, and future voters in League-sponsored education programs and other forms of public discourse.

We hope this single item program will result in:

- publicity for LWVAC and LWVAC activities

- increased candidate participation in forums and voters guides

- voter awareness of what is on the entire ballot

- increased resident and student participation beyond the presidential contest

- creation of "Friends of the League" to facilitate volunteer activities by non-members

- vast expansion of our electronic presence
