AMES TOWNSHIP FISCAL OFFICER

Roseanna Hines

I am currently serving as fiscal officer for Ames Township. I am also Head Cook for Amesville Elementary School. Previously I worked for The Community Bank. I have held the office of Fiscal Officer since 1998. I have been successfully re-elected for each term since then. I have completed Public Record and UAN training. I have successfully completed several audits by the Ohio State Auditor's office and have always had clean audits. Each meeting I prepare the Trustees with a copy of our Fund Status Reports so they are aware of funds available.

 

Matthew Sayers

Education and Experience:  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Ohio Christian University.  I am the Process Development Manager of Crane Plastics.  I have experience in Capital Expenditures, generating return on investments, departmental budgets, and company forecasting.   My department is responsible for continuous improvement and productivity for the entire company through technical advances as well as cost cutting measures.

I served as President and Vice-President, Athens County Board of Commissioners.

I served 11 years as Administrative Officer, Deputy Director, Administrative Services, Defense Printing Service at the Pentagon, Washington, D.C..

I served 3 years in the U.S. Army

 

BERN TOWNSHIP TRUSTEE

 

Ralph Wirkner

Graduated from high school, 4 yrs. technical school, attended and graduated basic law enforcement academy, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Oh. Work for General Motors Corp. for 39 yrs. as a journeyman millwright, and worked 22 yrs. partime, for a suburban Cleveland police department, as a patrolman. I worked partime for Bern Township, and I have been a Bern Toenship Trustee for the last six years.

 

Danny Simons

Graduate of Trimble Local School District, attended Ohio Universasity, as well as several workshops and classes at Hocking College.  I have been a resident of Athens County my entire life and have been a property owner in Bern Township since 1972.  I served as Bern Township Clerk for sixteen years from 1976 to 1992.  I am presently serving as a Fair Board Director with the Athens County Agriculture Society.  I have served in this capacity for the past 18 years.  I served as a volunteer fireman with the Ames-Bern Amesville Volunteer Fire Department.

Sheila Arnold

Graduated Trimble High School and attended Hocking College two years.  30 years experience handling payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and various fiscal responsibilities for a local private business.

 

Kellee D. George

Graduated Athens High School 1986, attended Hocking College. I have twenty five years experience accounting/bookkeeping & payroll, including primary and secondary fiscal duties in every facet of my employment up to my current responsibilities. I have a strong and dedicated work ethic that allows me to complete any and all assigned tasks in an efficient and expedient manner. I have utilized traditional and modern methods while accomplishing these duties.

 

Candy M. Taylor

I am seeking the office for Dover Twp. Fiscal Officer. I was born and have lived in Dover Twp. most of my life.

 I have knowledge and experience in budgeting, payroll , workers comp.  and dealing with the public by being a past manager for 15 years at an apartment complex and manager of a convience store. I am currently working for the USPS and have had for over 14 years.

I graduated from Alexander High School with the class of 1983. I am lifelong resident of Lodi Township. I live at 14432 Fossil Rock Rd Athens, OH 45701. I was employed with the Lodi Township from 1984 to 1996. And am now currently employed with the Athens County Engineers Department as an operator doing all duties ranging from brush cutting to snow removal.

Bridget Bobo

I have worked at the Clerk of Courts of Athens County for almost 8 years.  Working between the legal office and the title office.   I keep track of the vacation and sick time that our office has available or used.  I also do daily deposits, judgement liens, and collection of court costs due in the criminal department.  I have experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll

 

Rhonda J. Meeks

I received my bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in 1980.  I then began teaching at Alexander Local.  While teaching and raising my family, I received my Master’s Degree (1992) and Talented and Gifted certification.   I have a strong work ethic, as proven through my personal life, work and community involvement.   I have accurately managed the finances of personal, business and community accounts.   I recently retired from the Alexander Local School District after 30 years of teaching.  My goal is to now use the many skills that I have acquired throughout my career to give back to my local community.

 

Jonetta Niggemeyer

I graduated from Alexander High School in 1986.  I have 10 years of banking experience through Hocking Valley Bank and a total of 13 years as accounts payable clerk and payroll for various local institutions, including the Auditor’s office and Children Services.  Today, I manage finances at Alexander Local School District with various grants.  For nearly 25 years, I have seen to the funds of Athens County and my experience is proof that I am highly qualified to be fiscal officer for Lodi Township.
