Each year AAO recognizes one student from each of Ohio's graduate speech-language pathology programs to receive the "Williams Award", named for our founders William Portico, William Weidner and William Pitts. Each awardee is honored at the luncheon of AAO's Fall Conference in October. Each recipient also receives free workshop tuitition and 20 months of free membership in AAO. This prestigious award is presented on the recommendation of each graduate program's faculty to acknowledge outstanding academic status, excellence in clinical skills and demonstration of professionalism and dedication.
