APHASIOLOGY ASSOCIATION OF OHIO

MEMBER INTEREST SURVEY

Our organization (AAO) continues to play an important role in promoting quality services to persons with neurogenic speech,language, cognitive and swallowing disorders in Ohio and states on its borders. To keep up with changing times, we are considering some modifications to the structure of our Executive Board to expand the number of members involved in our various projects and efforts. Please indicate your interest(s) in serving on the board or participating in the organization in some way.

I am interested m obtaining information regarding how I may help with the following activities of the organization:

Creating and mailing flyers to publicize association events.

Maintaining the Association's Web page

Maintain tbe Association's membership list by sending out renewals, receiving new member's forms, printing labels from the membership data base and updating the membership data base via computer.

Recommend speakers, plan and coordinate details for our annual fall workshop.

Work with new members/ welcome and introduce to participation in AAO

Work with univesity faculty and graduate students; recruit their membership and participation in continuing education programs.

Work with educational resources of the Association: maintain the collection, mail requested items to members for their continuing education and inservice needs.

Edit. write, solicit articles for and disseminate the Association Newsletter.

Represent AAO in your local area of the state

Represent AAO in Columbus at legislative events.
