Horses

By Mary Jane Giesey

Horses live on farms in the country, or in the wild.

They run very fast, work, and jump most of the time.

If another animal tried to hurt the horse, it would run away, or fight the animal.

Horses eat hay, unwashed carrots, and sugar cubes.

Horses can be white, black, light brown, dark red, or two of these colors.

Horses make a whinnying sound.

Horses are my favorite animals.
