ESRI has released version 7.1 of ArcPad software.
I will get new authorization codes from ESRI.
 
We will begin work on the Trimble Township Maplewood Cemetery
GIG application and plan to have all initial data entered
by the end of 2008.
 
Darren will meet with Ben Abfall, Auditor's Office to
re-establish the proper protocol for doing parcel splits.
 
Athens City is going to conduct a City-wide inventory of Ash
trees.  ILGARD will assist in recording the inventory in a GIS.
ILGARD and the City will also do a Pilot Project of a complete
tree inventory.
 
Darren will meet with E-911 to provide technical assistance
in migrating from ArcView 3.x to ArcView 9.2.
 
AVL implementation demonstration project is underway in the
Athens County Engineer Department.  An AVL Pilot Demonstration
for snow-plows began early this year.
 
-NOTE- A new parking pass system has been implemented at ILGARD.
You may provide your email address to Daleen Dotson at
dotsond@ohio.edu, and before each GIS meeting Daleen will email
you a one-day parking pass for you to print out and place on your
passenger-side dash.
 
Our next GIS Steering Committee meeting will be held
May 15, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in the ILGARD conference room.
